Full-time Marketing Lead & Event Coordinator

,Role Overview 

We are looking for a creative, bilingual professional to take the lead on our marketing efforts (internal and external) and provide high-level support for our event season. You will be the “voice” of our brand online and the “right hand” to the CEO during events.You will be responsible for executing our marketing and event logistics using a 10-80-10 workflow: receiving the CEO’s vision (10%), using generative AI and modular SOPs to build the output (80%), and presenting the final product for review (10%). AI-Powered Marketing Leadership (Your Primary Focus)

  • Prompt Engineering: Use generative AI tools (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT) to draft high-engagement content, sponsorship decks, and newsletters based on Amber Effect’s blueprint
  • Creative Content: Design and implement all marketing campaigns and social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Design: Create all advertising materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social posts using Canva and Canva Magic Studio.
  • Growth & Analysis: Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (web traffic/rankings) to identify new revenue opportunities and high-value corporate leads.
  • Digital Tools: Manage the marketing mix using MailChimp, Asana, Google Adwords, WordPress and CRM tools or others.
  • Reporting: Create reports on marketing metrics like conversion rates and ROI to guide our weekly strategy meetings.

Event Coordination (Supporting the Lead Planner)

  • SOP Execution: Follow and refine the “Modular SOP Library” to handle venue booking, supplier RFPs, and logistical checklists. 
  • Logistical “Co-Pilot”: Use AI to speed up the 80% of event planning (drafting RFP emails, comparing supplier quotes, and building run-of-show documents). 
  • Supplier Liaison: Research and coordinate with suppliers, exhibitors, and venue staff to ensure all details are in order.
  • Administrative Support: Manage ticket sales, RSVPs, and daily administration of event programs and deadlines.
  • On-Site Assistance: Support set-up, tear-down, and final inspections to ensure everything meets our “wow factor” standards.
  • Budgeting: Assist in tracking financial budgets, timelines, and calculating billing amounts.

Requirements & Skills

  • AI Literacy (Mandatory): Demonstrated experience using Generative AI to accelerate workflows. You should be comfortable “collaborating” with AI to produce work faster and better. 
  • 3+ years of experience in events, marketing, or project management. 
  • Bilingualism: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Technical Savvy: Solid skills in Google Workspace, MS Office, Asana, WordPress and web analytics.
  • Attributes: Strong analytical skills, well-organized, creative, dependable, a goal-oriented attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.A preference for building a system over “just doing the task.” You are a self-starter who looks for ways to automate the mundane to focus on the “Wow Factor.” 

Compensation & Structure

  • Starting Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour, 35-37 hours per week (commensurate with experience and results). Two regular weeks paid vacation to start and 11 paid public holidays plus 1 paid floating personal day off are also provided. 
  • Full Transparency: While certain conventional perks typically found in larger organizations, like health insurance, are not part of this package, we prioritize high-value advantages such as flexibility, creative autonomy, and the opportunity for performance-based incentives while working directly with the CEO/Owner.
  • Structure: Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for event days. Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously. Remote work/Work-from-home and off-site work at various event locations. Require working some evenings and weekends as per event’s schedule. Must have a reliable computer and internet connection.
